Secondly, before the motorcycle is sealed, do a little maintenance and change the oil of the vehicle, so as to prevent the impurities and sludge from eroding the internal of the engine, and also to prevent the internal rust of the engine. Before the car is sealed, there must be a comprehensive cleaning of the motorcycle, which can prevent the corrosion of parts by some dirty substances. What’s more, you don’t have to do much maintenance work in the next spring.
Owners with more budget could do a rust-proof paint on the bike, which can undermine the corrosion and guarantee gloss of the paint. In the other hand, the chain should be well taken care. If the motorcycle is not used for a long time, some problems will occur in the chain. In addition, it is recommended to remove the battery and store it in a dry space above 32℉, and charge it regularly every month to prevent the battery from consuming insufficient power. The tires must also be maintained in advance to avoid parking for a long time and deformed.
Of course, the most important thing is anti-theft. Otherwise, the previous work is totally in vain. Everyone does not want to be spotted by thieves during the period and steal their motorcycles.
